Romans 8:26-39
This week marks the conclusion of our monthlong sermon series where we explore some of the big questions about the church of the 21st century world. We will continue to examine whether Christians today are “doing it wrong” through the lens of the Apostle Paul’s words in the Book of Romans. We will also look at our lives and compare them to those of the Desert Mothers and Fathers, early Christians who separated themselves from the world as they knew it to devote themselves fully to God.
As we conclude our series this week, we look at two questions. The first one addresses a concern that is prevalent outside of churches today; can you live a life of faith without the church? The second question is perhaps even more challenging… what should be the focus of the modern-day church?
I hope that you will join us as we examine whether the church of Jesus Christ in the 21st century world is “doing it wrong.”
